A lot can be said for someone who can truly follow their dreams. For Stanley, that meant quitting his day job as a publicists to pursue a career beating up people. More specifically, moving to Thailand to train professionally in the art of muay thai. So on his last day in the office, he and his girlfriend Jenn decided to get married! To their surprise, a full wedding day was in store including wedding rings, rice tossing and even a cake cutting ceremony.

This was a spur of the moment wedding that I didn’t have all my gear for, but it’s also a great reason for you to carry your camera around with you everywhere you go. You never know what opportunities are just around the corner. For me, that means keeping my D700 with a 35mm f2 in my messenger bag. That kit can basically take 80% of what I would normally shoot at a regular wedding day.
